Do You Have Two Personas? [05 Mar 2004|05:06pm] [ mood | curious ] [ music | Gambeeram - Oru Chinna Vennila ] (My)REAL LIFE PERSONA: I am the proverbial shy-guy, who in this case is really a girl (I like the rhyme of shy-guy thats why). Not much of a mixer, the farthest I can go is to be an introverted-extrovert on extremely sunny days. The voice inside my head reminds me that I don’t usually get along with(or like) 90% of the people out there, and I am always in search of the other 10% - truly (madly and deeply). Coming from an all-girl family I used to be the man-of-the-house in waiting, having had extensive experience in fixing faucets, climbing trees, reading newspapers and ordering other people about. All that has gone to waste since the title has passed on to my husband, now I am in the blissful state of married martyrdom. More of a bread-maker than a bread-winner, yeah, you get the idea. (My)LJ PERSONA: Currently I am an aggressive friend-maker, an incessant talker and an intermittent poster. The rest, depending on my run-ins with other LJ-ers could range from rosy to nosy or from boring to daring. I believe that many of us have two different personas, as an LJ-er(or more generally – an online persona) and as a real life person. Or are you one and the same, on and off-line?
