Billy Joel- We didn't start the fire |

Happened to watch a bit of VH1's 50 Most Awesomely Bad Songs Ever List while pursuing my favorite activity of flipping channels yesterday. Little did I know that it was going to be a program that'll blacken my entire music listening history.
When I was in my early teens I used to listen to a program called 'Sunday Selections', aired by All India Radio's Trivandrum station. It was a request program which played what passed off as 'western music' in our part of the world. Yours truly didn't have a casette player(yep, i am that</i> old!) until I was well past the age and the need to have one. My parents bought a VCR/VHS Player last year, at the right time when tapes had gone out of fashion and DVDs made their entry, they are still in denial of technology. Since such unwanted technological invaders were kept at bay by my 'concerned' parents (its a wonder how they succumbed to television?!!), my musical molding was completely at the mercy of All India Radio programs like 'Manchaahe Geet', 'Aapki Farmayish', 'Ishtaganangal' and ofcourse 'Sunday Selections'. Watching VH1 yesterday, made me realise that whatever tidbits of pop/rock/country I had listened to, was not only bad, but was some of the awesomely 'baddest' songs ever to have touched the sacred human tympanic membrane.
The 'awesomely bad' list includes some of my favorites like
We didn't start the fire - Billy Joel I'd do anything for love - Meatloaf I'll be missing you - Puff Daddy
and some of those very eightyish songs which I have to admit albeit their cheesiness I do like them. They are,
I am too sexy - Right Said Fred Achy Breaky Heart - Billy Ray Cyrus Don't Worry, Be happy - Bobby McFerrin Ice Ice Baby - Vanilla Ice
The complete list is here.
If you have such a list of songs(any language), what will be your top 3 and bottom 3 ever, or is there one song you hated most (or loved most)?
