Six oddities about me.
• INTOLERABLE CRUELTY TOWARDS ANIMALS: The first ever gift I received was on my 10th birthday from my parents(this gift giving was a practice I initiated and educated my parents about, since we hardly had any toys) which I chose myself – a toy rifle that shot plastic bullets, for the exclusive purpose of killing small birds and critters in our backyard. Luckily for the little creatures I didn't turn out to be an ace shot I had dreamt I'd be.
• NOTORIOUS AT A YOUNG AGE?: By the time I turned 16, my passport size photo was published in all major local newspapers and I had been to police station twice. All three were unrelated incidents.
• A HAIRY BARBARIAN: I have never been to a hair salon or a barbershop, the only people who've cut/trimmed my hair are my mother and my husband(huh..can't believe their luck buhahaha). But one of these days I plan to become fashionable. Watch out!
• 100% NON METALLIC: I do not have any kind of metal on any part of my body – I do not wear jewelry (not even the wedding band or mangalsutra) or watch and I've been fortunate enough not to need spectacles, metallic dental fillings or metal clamps in my bones. In short I am so non-metallic that I could be displayed in the organic aisle in grocery stores.
• A WOMAN WHO IS A BAD SHOPPER? My husband shops for my clothes as well as his. It could be any or all of the three reasons – he belongs to this new breed of metrosexuals or I hate shopping or my choice sucks, all three could be valid.
• TEFLON COATED INNARDS: My whole life has been a struggle to gain weight. At one point I used to have two raw eggs with a glass of milk in the morning just so that I'd put on a few pounds.
In the spirit of the game it is my turn to pass the oddity tag, the chosen six if they have time to engage in this trivial pursuit are,
